Your therapy session will involve talking through your history and what you would like to gain from therapy sessions, setting your personal aims and goals.  Frances will then discuss with you various options and techniques you can use together to achieve those goals.  No-one’s reaction to situations, events or indeed everyday life is the same as anyone else’s.  We are shaped by our unique experiences, which is why sessions are always specifically tailored to your needs, finding new skills and using your existing strengths to alter old habits.

Techniques used may include hypnotherapy, EFT and will certainly involve some aspects of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).  These excellent psychological techniques will help you to establish fresh outlooks and positive approaches to finding effective solutions to meet your needs.

We will also try to have fun along the way!  Hypnotherapy is not about feeling angst and reliving unpleasant memories – it is often enlightening, both in body and mind.

Hypnosis is a pleasant experience, not at all scary or threatening, and after learning self-hypnosis, you will be able to use it in your everyday life whenever you wish.

At the end of your session, you will review your progress and will usually be given an MP3 recording to listen to at home which is included in the cost of a session.

I offer a free initial consultation over the phone.  Each session thereafter usually lasts 60-90 minutes.  I usually work with clients for between 2 and 5 sessions though this can vary depending on the severity of the issue.  I will be able to give a more accurate idea of the number of sessions required following our  telephone consultation or you can fill in an enquiry form,
